Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026
Artiflora Express Shop ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information, and how you can access or correct it, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. What we collect
When you submit a booking request, we collect the personal information you provide, including:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Event date, venue and location
- Preferred setup and packdown times
- Any additional notes you choose to include (e.g. colour preferences, delivery instructions)
We do not collect payment details through the website. Where payment is later required, it is handled through a separate, secured billing process after your request is confirmed.
2. Why we collect it
We only use your personal information to:
- Assess and respond to your booking request and confirm availability;
- Communicate with you about your event, including delivery and setup;
- Prepare a quote for hire, delivery and any bond;
- Fulfil our hire agreement with you if your booking is confirmed; and
- Keep records for accounting and tax purposes as required by law.
We will not use your information for direct marketing without your consent, and you may opt out at any time.
3. How it is stored
Your personal information is stored securely on our platform provider's infrastructure and is accessible only to authorised personnel. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, in line with our obligations under the APPs.
Date-based availability shown on the website is derived from aggregated booking counts and capacity settings — it does not expose any other customer's personal information to you.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We only share your personal information where it is necessary to fulfil your booking — for example, with our setup and delivery team for your specific event. We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
5. Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected (including completing your booking and meeting our legal and tax obligations), and then securely delete or de-identify it.
6. Access, correction and complaints
Under the APPs, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, or to make a complaint about how we have handled it.
To do any of the following, please contact us:
- Request access to your personal information
- Request that we correct your personal information
- Request that we delete your personal information (subject to any legal retention obligations)
- Make a privacy complaint
Email: enquiry@artiflorau.com
We will respond to your request within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. If we refuse access or correction, we will tell you why. If you are not satisfied with our response to a privacy complaint, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
7. Anonymous requests
Booking requests can be submitted without creating an account. In that case, the information you provide in the request form is the only personal information we hold about you in relation to that request.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
